Its raining.....
Hello Readers,
This is the month of July and here it started raining.
I like the rainy season very much it is the season of harvesting and climate is very good.
This blog has completed a year in this month.
I would like to thank Karen and Ancodia for their comments and support.
I want to share a real life experience of myself during rainy season 2 years back
2 years back on 25Th July 2005, My First ever job and 4Th day of my job, I was under a training programme.
I did not knew when it started raining heavily as I was inside the training room and it was not accessible by outside world. At 4.30 PM when I went out for a cup of coffee I found everyone was running here and there to catch their buses, by then I realize that I have to move to the bus now itself otherwise I will get stuck here in the office. It was really raining very hard. I managed to get a seat in the bus. Bus started. The journey from work place to my home is 1.5 hours and due to heavy rain and traffic jam I was expecting to reach my place in 3 hours from now.
The traffic was bad and every one was panicked as it was a record breaking rain in the town.
I kept my cool. I called at my home and told that not to worry I am inside the bus, I gave my phone to other fellow passengers to make calls to their families and friends.
We were 50 passengers inside the bus. Our bus was stuck ed in the traffic jam and not moved for around 5 hours.
It was night 2 AM. I was still sitting and just watching crowd which was going by walking to their home but It was impossible for me (or anyone) to walk 30 kilometers in such a heavy rain.
I decided to stick around in the bus only. Many passengers from the bus also loosing patience and started for home by walking.
Now it was around 5 AM, I had not had even a cup of tea from past 12 hours. Traffic was moving little bit but rain was not stopped. I was expecting to reach home at 7 AM (12 hours).
I reached home at 7 AM. Some facts..
- It rained 944mm which is a record for past 25 years in the city.
- Billions of money has been lost
- Death toll was around 150.
- People was offering biscuits and tea for the commuters in the morning
- Many people saved lives without bothering about their own lives.
- My mobile phone got affected by rain ( It was my first ever mobile phone from my savings) and now it was unrepairable.
Rest is going OK.
In the next post I will rite about my appraisal discussion with my manager.
Reaction
Let the mind be cheerful but calm. Never let it run into excesses, because every excess will be followed by a reaction.

Good Bye and Take care!!!
