Feed back of my BOSS....

Hello Readers,

Last week was a very busy week for me.
Got to know so many different things and so many different people. of course so many views and perspectives as well.

We had a meeting called Feed back meeting.
The feed was about our boss.
well they wanted to have a feedback about our boss in the presence of him then I have to told them boss feedback is a very private thing and it has to be a private affair and not the public ones..... after the arguments they agreed.

So we gathered in a meeting room with all the general talks we started the review of Our Boss.
Ms. X: Oh.. He is such a nice person, He is very good at what he does and blah blah blah......
Me: Mam this is a feed back session and all what u r saying is OK. Do you have any point in which he should improve then utilize this time for that.
Mr. X: I think he should improve in communication.
Me: OK. written apart from that?
No on spoke about the real things.
Me: OK Let me start... He is good at what he does but there are many things that I would like to see improvement in my boss Like
1. He should not pressurize us for the delivery of the project.
2. Should not be rude in the pressure situations.
3. I got up at night 3 o'clock for the meetings and issues and all stuff but I have not heard a single word of encouragement and motivation from him.
4. He should also treat us as a part of the team.( I said 2 incidents where he has not considered us at all)
5. I would like to learn under him if he is more Open and enthusiastic then what he is right now.

All the colleagues of mine started staring at me and then started clapping. I asked why to clap guys some one has to be bold and courageous enough to speak I did and I am not sure how is gonna do in my appraisals. But I spoke what I feel.

that's it. I personally feel he is a very good boss....
but all of us have something or the other missing from us, someone has to point out that and we should accept it without any ego if it is correct. I might be wrong but then some body should come forward and let me know my defects.

any ways..

Alan Cohen:

" It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power "

Hi ,

I was reading ur blog posts and found some of them to be very good.. u write well.. Why don't you popularize it more.. ur posts on ur blog ‘Horizon....an Epistemology’ took my particular attention as some of them are interesting topics of mine too;

BTW I help out some ex-IIMA guys who with another batch mate run www.rambhai.com where you can post links to your most loved blog-posts. Rambhai was the chaiwala at IIMA and it is a site where users can themselves share links to blog posts etc and other can find and vote on them. The best make it to the homepage!

This way you can reach out to rambhai readers some of whom could become your ardent fans.. who knows.. :)

Cheers,
